Recently we had a belated giveaway for Earth Day and one of the entry requirements was to comment an Earth Day tip. Granola Recipe

I started making our own granola about 5 years ago and it has become a staple in our house. I started off with an awesome recipe from Soulemama which she had posted from one of my now favourite cook books Feeding The Whole Family by Cynthia Lair. Over the years I've tweaked that recipe until it slowly became my own. We eat this granola at least a couple mornings a week and pair it with our homemade yogurt and fruit sauce. Zero Waste Holiday

Last week we boarded a plane to head east to visit family for a week. My challenge for the week was to try to continue our journey towards cutting out plastics and eating non processed foods. To prepare; the day before I made up a big batch of our granola and a couple loaves of bread to have while in Ottawa.
