Indigo Hand Dyed 1Ply Dye Lot 1

Hand dyed Indigo Canadian Wool. This yarn is a minimally processed 1 ply wool. It knits up as a heavy fingering or sport weight. It’s beautiful for shawls and color work sweaters. This yarn is soft for a wool and is created from Canadian Merino and Rambouillet breeds.

Ethically sourced and minimally processed so no harsh chemicals are used and then hand dyed thru the process of Indigo dipping. It’s a labour intensive dye technique but creates amazing color. I hand dye this collection over a light grey base so it gives a heathered/semi solid finish. 

These are dyed in very small batches and each batch will have its unique color, I use all the dye available per vat so you will see dark tones and beautiful light tones in the different batches.

Being that this is Indigo it will fade over time like your favourite pair of jeans.
